The two-day Pattaya Sports Club annual golf championship was held on 6 & 9 January at the Khao Kheow Country Club, with 111 golfers playing in the event.  The course was, as ever, in excellent condition and most of the players comments reinforced that view.  Many thanks once again go to the management & staff of Khao Kheow for allowing us to play this event in the middle of high season at such a reasonable price.

Taking top honours this year and being crowned the 2015 club champion was Paul Smith (H/cap 4) with a great score of 146 gross over the 2 days.  Rotjana Neal (9) was named Ladies champion with a fine total of 159 gross while Peter Henshaw (20) won the Seniors title with 185 gross.  Eddy Beilby (19) took first place and the champion’s crown in the stableford comp with 80 points overall.

The post-tournament dinner and presentations were held at Shenanigans, Jomtien on Saturday evening, January 10, with a very good crowd in attendance.  Peter Blackburn opened the presentations and before announcing all the winners for the event, he introduced Mark West, the PSC Golf Chairman, who thanked all the players for taking part in the event and his golf committee of Peter Blackburn, Dick Warberg, Gerd Riedler and Andre Van Dyke, plus Tom Herrington who took the photos on the evening.  He also gave thanks appreciation to Kit, Patti, Noi and Jun who sold 50/50 tickets on the night, and mentioned the invaluable help he received from the rest of the Pattaya Sports Club Staff, especially Mai.
