PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
A Monday start for this week on Sept. 3 as we journeyed the nearly 3 hours east, before turning more north to complete our journey at Soi Dao Highlands Golf Course. We had decided on an overnighter for a change, to take advantage of the course availability.
We teed off on Monday afternoon under cloudy skies, with the course very wet; I would suggest that a private course could well have been closed. We decided on ‘lift, clean & place’ to offset the wet and the lack of run for long game shots.

Owen Walkley (9) played some good golf, especially given the conditions, to sign for 36 points ahead of the ever consistent Jeff Wylie (5) with 33.
Near pins were shared around between Willem, Jeff & Jonathan – the latter converting for a nice birdie 2 on Hole 16.
Tuesday morning saw some improvement in the course conditions, but still very damp so we went with ‘lift, clean & place’ again.
Today it was Jonathan Pratt (18) who edged out Jeff Wylie (5) on count back 20 to 18 after both signed for 35 points.
Near pins today went to Owen and Jonathan, again on #16, and again converting for birdie.
The 2-day aggregate went to Jeff ahead of Owen, closely followed by Jonathan.
Thursday we went to Emerald but had to cancel our game as the rain was persistent and there was no end in sight, pity, but it happens.
