The weekly Aussie day out to lawn bowls at Coco Club last week turned into an impromptu fun day with 14 players – including lady partners on a 3 x 6 end out of the hat round-robin to find a singles winner. With some “sponsorship” from Mont Clair, Kenya Airways and Coco Club, they all seemed to have some fun.
As it turned out, ‘Big’ Spike took the honours, from Bob and John. Bob also donated 1,000 baht for the best lady on the day – which we called the Boobie prize and which was won by a relative newcomer in the form of Wan.
