Dear sports editor,
Despite some recent negative reports about golf courses in the Pattaya area, last Thursday I played at the newly opened Mountain Course at Phoenix Gold Golf and all I can say is that it is a job well done with regards to the renovation. I and my friends had a great round followed by another 9 holes on the beautiful Ocean Course.

We purposely went there on Thursday as they are currently offering a Sports Day rate at only 900 baht for 18 holes and we didn’t have to use a golf cart as they are not mandatory anymore. What good news! We will for sure revisit the club again before the end of the month although I understand that they are closing the course for a few days for Singha Open.
