PSC golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, June 21, The Emerald – Stableford
First to Tuesday though where we went to Emerald, a bit short on numbers again with players away, cars being fixed and even guys turning up to another course. Put that one down to a communication breakdown, so no harm done.
Ray Spence (16) & and Graham Hiskett (13) had to be separated by count-back, with Ray getting the nod 17 to 13. Obviously the form players on the day, this pair shared the near pins also.
Thursday, June 23, Pattaya C.C. – Skins
Thursday we journeyed to Pattana where we were directed to the B & C layout, arguably the most intimidating 1st tee in the area, B1. Short numbers today so we decided on a skins format where the good shot may be rewarded, unless someone else bobs up on the same hole with a shot.
Frans Olgers (19) led the way home with 8 skins, just ahead of Joel Flor (19) with 6, while Jeff Wylie (6) with 3 & Stan Rees (25) with 1, propped up the field. It was good fun though, made all the better by the course being in such good nick.
