Monday, Nov. 20, Burapha – Stableford

Peter Stonebridge doubled his career aces today at Burapha and in the process collected a 10,000 baht voucher donated by Andre Coetzee.  Peter also collected the top spot with an impressive 40 points.

Robert Mitchell, a tourist from Australia and playing of off 2, claimed second place on a count-back over Mr Acco, both with 38 points while The Sugarman was fourth with 36.

Monday, Nov. 20, Siam Plantation – Stableford

Eleven players took on the Plantation course and Chris Davison proved to be a cut above the rest as he won the day with a fine round of 40 points.  Brendan Moylan came second six points back on 34 and Mark Rossiter was third with 32.

There were two ‘2’s, coming from Mark Rossiter and Chris Davison.

Wednesday, Nov. 22, Royal Lakeside – Stableford

A round dozen golfers were supposed to play Royal Lakeside on a hot humid day but one got lost on route.

Rob Mitchell took top spot on the day, edging out Steve Mann on count-back after both scored 40 points overall.  Third place went to Bill Macdonald with 39.

Rob Mitchell recorded the only ‘2’ of the day.

Friday, Nov. 24, Green Valley – Medal

The Outback monthly medal attracted a field of over 40 players and 9 podium places were up for grabs.

Topping the field and going forward to next September’s medal winners comp was Stefan Hoge with a great round of net 68.

4 players came joint second on net 71, those being Peter Nixon, Peter Lenoury, Vic Hester and Howard Marson, while a further three, Bill Macdonald, Steve Mann and Chris Kerr were tied on net 72.  Kevin Mackintosh and Jim Black were also locked on net 74s and completed the podium.

Peter Nixon, Kevin Macdonald and Barry Copestake recorded the only ‘2’s of the day.
