Garden International School (GIS), which is based in Ban Chang, made a splash with a spectacular swimming gala on Wednesday October 10 as the students took on two other local schools, namely Regent’s and St Andrews.

All three schools were leading the points table at some stage during the afternoon, which meant that every single race mattered and was closely contested.

The GIS Year 4 boys got off to a good start by winning the Medley Relay.  The Year 5 girls brought GIS the most points out of all the age groups and did fantastically well.  All in all, every single swimmer who competed for GIS swam well.  The results were extremely close and by the end Regent’s won, with GIS and St Andrews both tied in second place.
