Pattaya will play host to two fighting sports competitions never before staged in Thailand on Feb. 21, with the Super Muay Thai and Kunlun mixed-martial arts match.
Representatives from Thai television channel Work Point TV met with Pattaya officials Feb. 9 to pitch the twin-bill event for the Eastern National Indoor Sport Stadium on Soi Chaiyapruek 2.

Popular Muay Thai fighters including Khayal Dzhaniev, the man who beat Buakaw Banchamek: Risco, female boxer Barney, and current sensation Chang Puak Banchamek all will be in attendance.
Registration and weigh-ins will take place Feb. 20 with fights beginning the next night at 6 p.m.
