Our last event of the year saw us fly up route 7 in light traffic for an early tee-off under sunny skies but with a howling gale out of the northeast to contend with. Fortunately the wind abated towards the end of the round.

The course was in good shape except for the bunkers, which it seems are being ignored by the greens staff. The course was also very busy so it took us the better part of 5 hours to get around.
Back in the clubhouse a welcome went out to Tizano Dalpastro from Italy and a goodbyes to Maurice Herberg and Laurina Brinn, back to Holland, and Susan Gaarde, going back to Denmark.
Two flights today with the cut at handicap 21 and a full bevy of pins to shoot for. Ulf Larsson took the A Flight with 37 points, two up on Richard Kubicki in second while Maurice Herberg secured third place on a count back over Mike Allidi, both with 34 points.
The soon to be departing Susan Gaarde won the B Flight with a fine 42 points and Jan Lovgreen came in a close second with 40 (26 on the front). Tizano Dalpastro meanwhile placed third on a count back from Dave Richardson and Peter Hammond, all with 30 points each.
