PSC golf from Café Kronborg
Monday. Feb. 11, Bangpakong – stableford
Today it was our favorite – the Bangpakong Riverside course, up the route 7 in just a touch over an hour and we were off the first tee on time under hazy but sunny conditions and a nice breeze to keep us cool. The course on the day was immaculate but was also very busy and it took us a shade under 5 hours to get around.
Two flights today, with the cut at handicap 19, and a whole lot of near pins to fight for.
Brian Gabe won the A Flight with 38 points ahead of Ted Morris in second and Monte Sykes third at one point intervals. Doug Maiko took fourth on a count back from Mike Allidi and Jan Lovgreen, all on 35 points.
Svend Gaarde, Dave Richardson and Kjeld Ravn.
Jesper Rasmussen topped the B Flight on a count back over Kurt Sandgaard in second, both with 37 points. Susanne Gaarde was third on another count back, this one over hubby Svend Gaarde, while Elias Magnusson completed the podium in fifth.

Thursday, Feb. 14, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
It was off for a very pleasant day at Pleasant Valley, just 42 minutes en route, an easy check-in and off the first tee on time under sunny and hot conditions. The course was in very good condition with the exception of the bunkers, which looked like all of Thailand had traipsed through them in the last 2 days.
Back in the clubhouse after a steady 4 hours and 15 minutes round welcomes went out to Lotte Boskov and Arne Max Pederson, back from Denmark.
