Another count back decided Div 2, with Alex Field getting the nod over George Wilson, both with 32 points. One shot further behind and taking out third place was Frank Riley.

Twenty six golfers turned out to take part in the Kevin Grose Memorial Shield and The November Monthly Mug. It was 5 years ago this week that we lost Kevin and as an annual event it is supported very well by the punters at The Growling Swan.
The venue was Crystal Bay and we were not to be disappointed the course, as per usual was in great nick. We played courses C and B from the yellow tees.
Takeshi Hakozaki led Div 1 saw from the outset and his return of net 67 gave him enough to take both the Monthly Mug and Kevin Grose trophy. Second was John Edwards, with Nat and Bill Steinmann filling third and fourth.
Div 2 saw late inclusion Robert Cross win the division with a score of net 68, probably his best game in a while. Denis Tooth and Alex Field had to go to the count-back with Denis getting the nod. Rudy Regenass filled fourth spot.
