PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, Nov. 13, Wangjuntr – Stableford
Tuesday was a longer drive than usual as we made our way north east to Wangjuntr, with the Valley course to be our test today. The course was in good shape and under hot sunny skies with a light breeze blowing, it made for good golf conditions.
We played from the second from the back, Blue tees, which provided an all round test, with a good combination of longish and some positional tee shots required. Leading the way home was Jeff Wylie (6) with 33 points, just ahead of Owen Walkley (10) on 32.
Bruce was a near pin prize winner at Pattana.
With 5 near pins on offer today it was Willem Lasonder who was the star of the show with 2, both of which he converted for birdie, recording 2 for 4 points both times. Owen, Jeff and Graham picked up the others.
Thursday, Nov. 15, Pattana – Stableford
Pattana was Thursday’s venue with the B & C loop our allotted test for the day. Clear skies again seem to be the norm, which is a welcome relief after several weeks being disrupted by rain and wet courses.
Thirty-three points was the best anyone from our group could manage, with Jeff again leading the way from Owen, who today could only manage 30 points.
Near pins went to Bruce and Jeff, although Bruce was in line for 2 prizes until Jeff edged him on C2.
