Wednesday, November 2, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
We had to make a decision to play off the blue or white tees today, and as the blues were way back on the ‘tiger tees’ we decided to play of the whites, but after the first hole they were well forward and this made the course much easier for the big hitters.
The forward tee placements meant that on most holes the players only had a short iron into the green for their second shot and the scoring was of a very high standard partly due to this.
Shane ‘the bus driver’ Ruddle excelled in the A flight as did Bryan Neal in the B division. Near pins went to Ken Meek, Richard Hurley, Alan Pilkington and Ning Neal.

Hopefully the rain has finally left us because today was the first time that we did not get wet on the golf course for a long time, so it was a pleasure to play this course again.
Surprisingly enough today, only two players managed to break par, namely David Done and Bryan Neal. Near pins went to Graham Johnston, Scott Dobins, Bryan Neal and Pier Cere.
