Pattaya City School 11 was host to the final rounds of the 10th annual Pattaya Futsal Cup 2017 on Wednesday, May 24.  The gold ribbon match saw under 18 teams from Sukhumnawapan Uppatham School and Kilajangwat Angtong School play their very best in front of enthusiastic spectators.

The first half of the match was played at a ferocious pace and Sukhumnawapan Uppatham took a 3-2 advantage into the break.  During the second half of the game, Kilajangwat Angtong played a very offensive style, hoping to throw their opponent off guard, but sadly for them things didn’t go as planned as the team left themselves wide open, giving the Sukhumnawapan Uppatham multiple chances to take advantage.  The game finally ended with Sukhumnawapan Uppatham winning by a score of 7 goals to 3.

After the match, the winning team was awarded the champions’ trophy and 30,000 baht prize money by Ornwara Korapin, Director of Pattaya Tourism Promotion Bureau, who was joined with Choduk Chotgomjorn, member of the Pattaya City Council, and various supporters of the event.

In the 14 year old boys category, Watsuttiwararam School were crowned champions and took home 20,000 baht in prize money while runners-up Pluthaluangwittaya School received 10,000 baht by way of consolation.
