PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, March 5, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Tuesday was a trip up the 331 to the testing Treasure Hill, with the whites being our allocated tees at just over 6700 yards. The course was in good order, with the greens seeming a little slopier and faster than usual, especially from above the hole. Weather conditions were ideal for good golf, but it would be fair to say the course was the winner today.
2 flights, with the cut at 19+, saw a count back decide the higher handicaps. It was On (26) leading the way 16/15 over George Gamble (22) after both signed for 30 points, with Brian Maddox (21) getting third spot another point behind.

The lower handicapper group went to Jeff Wylie (6) with 33; Jim Federspiel (17) continued his winning form with 31 points, while Bob Edwards (9) got the bronze with 30 points over Tom & Owen 16/15/12 on count back.
Near Pins went to Dave, Jeff & Joel.
Thursday, March 7, Kabinburi – Stableford
Thursday saw a group from ML travel up to Kabinburi for an overnighter, with 2 games at KB Sports Club. Again we had great conditions for golf with clear skies, a nice breeze and a course in good nick with superb fairways.
On day 1 all men played from the white tees at 6650 yards and it was Jeff Wylie (6) just edging Clive Hoseason (22) on count back 19/18 after both signed for 36 points, while Owen Lloyd (6) and his partner On (26) both had 35.
Owen (the golfer) got 2 Near Pins while Willem also got amongst the prizes.
Friday saw some of the men elect to play from the blues at an extra 500 yards, receiving an extra 2 handicap shots. It was Jonathan Pratt (17) with 35 points getting the major prize, while Owen Lloyd (6) got some revenge over Jeff (6+2) beating him on count back 18/14 after both signed for 34.
Jeff got amongst the Near Pins from the blues while Owen also got one. All agreed it was an enjoyable trip and look forward to further excursions in the future, from our new base at Rendezvous Restaurant & Bar.
