PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, Nov. 1, Khao Kheow – Stableford
What a wonderful week of golf for the players at Mulligans Lakeside; two of the very best courses available to us, Khao Kheow & Treasure Hill, don’t you just love it!
Tuesday was Khao Kheow C & B, where the course has dried out nicely, returning it to near its former glory. With 19 players today we had 2 flights, 0-18 & 19+, with near pins spread around between Jeff, Tony W and Mike, plus 1 going to BBH.
The A Flight was won by Jeff Wylie (5) with 34 points, Dave Edwards (17) was second with 29, while Kat (14) got third with 27 on count back over Tony Weresay.
The second flight went to Clive Hoseason (28) with a day’s best 35 points ahead of Dom (19) with 31, and Tony Chetland (19) picking up the bronze with 30 points.
Thursday, Nov. 3, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Thursday we had a late change of venue as we went to Treasure Hill where the course just gets better all the time, still a challenge mind you. With 17 players today, we again had 2 flights and with 6 x 18 handicappers we had the split at 18 with 3 in each flight, courtesy of a blind draw by Mike.
Thursday’s top four: Barry, Clive, Geoff & Jim.
The premier group was won by Geoff (18) with 32 points edging Jeff W (5) on a count back 18/14, with third spot going to Barry (18) on 30 points.
The other flight podium places were all filled by 18 handicappers; a day’s best of 34 points by Jim Federspiel, Willem with 27 and Clive with 26.
Near Pins were shared evenly between Jeff & the BBH.
