PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Dec. 1, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we drove down the 331 again for the first time in weeks, hoping the road would be better again. It was still disappointing but Greenwood was in very good condition and we very much enjoyed to play here again.
We played with 4 groups and the scores were reasonable. Sam Gettinby (H/cap 24) and George Gamble (24) played well and ended both with 37 points each; Sam just beating George on the count back. Joop Bijsterbosch (32) claimed third with 36 points.
The near pins were shared by Joop and Sam with two each.
Thursday, Dec. 3, Khao Kheow – Stableford
We went up to Khao Keow on Thursday on a nice sunny day and found a well maintained course.
Joop, George, Richard, Tony & Jonathan.
Tony Wakeling (h/cap 18) was by far the best player on the day and won with 41 stableford points. Jonathan Pratt (34) followed at a distance in second with 34 and Richard Schuttenhelm (36) took third on 33.
The near pins went to Joop Bijsterbosch, Dave Lyon and Tony Wakeling.
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
