Pattaya’s Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark hosted the Asia Flow Tour 2018 flow-riding competition on September 22.
The event is one of several held worldwide and attracted athletes from across Asia to compete. Other regional tournaments this year are scheduled in Sentosa (Singapore), Chengdu (China), Utama (Malaysia), Soul (South Korea) and Saipan. The grand final world flow-riding championships will be held in the Dominican Republic later this year.
The Pattaya competition was divided into 8 categories including Pro Men Flowboard, Pro Body Board, Pro Women’s Flowboard, Junior Flowboard, Open Men’s Flowboard, Open Women’s Flowboard, Open Bodyboard, and Novice Flowboard.
Thailand’s representatives included Tum Nonsee, who is ranked 4th in the world rank, and 15-year-old Nei Issara, the youngest athlete in the Pro category.
