Wednesday, October 26, Royal Lakeside – Stableford

It’s been quite some time since the Bunker Boy’s made the relatively long journey to Royal Lakeside but what a good choice of venue it turned out to be!  There has been extensive modernization done to the clubhouse and the course itself making what was a very good course to visit into a fantastic venue.  If it wasn’t for the potential for traffic problems on the way back it would be on the schedule every single month.

Back in the ‘new’ clubhouse the scorecards were checked and it was Mashi Kaneta who had the best score of the day beating Peter Habgood by a couple of points, Peter taking runner up spot ahead of Gordon Melua on a count back.

1st Mashi Kaneta (14) 38pts

2nd Peter Habgood (18) 36pts

3rd Gordon Melia (16) 36pts

Near Pins:  Jack Robertson, Bernie Stevens, Mashi, Reg Smart.

Friday, October 28, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford

Horrendous traffic hindered the short drive back from Pattaya Country Club but once back in the Bunker Bar William Macey found himself the clear winner by two points from Reg Smart and Sean Murphy came a distant third.

1st William Macey (15) 39pts

2nd Reg Smart (24) 37pts

3rd Sean Murphy (15) 32pts

Near Pins:  Gerry Cooney, Reg Smart, Sean Murphy, Terry Gill.
