PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, March 15, Treasure Hill – Stableford
On Tuesday we again faced a journey up the 331 to Treasure Hill. We played with 2 groups today and the course was in quite good condition, but was getting dry in many places. The greens were also sandy and unpredictable. It was a hot day, but we enjoyed the game.
There were not really any high scores today and the winner was Willem Lasonder (H/cap 19) with 36 points, six ahead of Tony Wakeling in second with 30.
The near pins went to Willem Lasonder (twice), Tom Murray and Jonathan Pratt.
Thursday, March 17, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
Mountain Shadow was our venue for the Thursday and it was again a hot day. The course was also dry and apart from the fairways there was not very much grass around. Disappointing for us was the fact, that we could not take a shower after the game. There were some problems with electricity and no lights in the locker room and no water.

Willem Lasonder confirmed his current good form and won the day with 37 points while in second place was Paddy Devereux (H/cap 18) with 32.
Nears pins were claimed by Paddy Devereux, Sam Gettinby and Willem Lasonder.
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
