PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, Feb. 3, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
On a nice Tuesday morning we went to Mountain Shadow and the course and weather were perfect. A promising day for good scores but in spite of the fine conditions our scores were not at the same level. Willem Lasonder (H/cap 20) had his day and became was winner with 41 points while coming second, at distance, was Sam Gettinby (24) with 25.
Only 2 near pins were claimed today, by Willem and Sam.
Thursday, Feb. 5, The Emerald – Stableford
Thursday we went to the Emerald where our group had not visited for a long time. The course and weather again perfect for a nice day of golf but we had no extreme scores.
Paddy Devereux (22) was the most constant player on the day and won with 36 points. In second was Willem Lasonder (20) with 33 points, just ahead of Jim Federspiel.
Again only 2 near pins won today, this time by Paddy Devereux and Jim Federspiel.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
