It was off to Greenwood on Monday and we teed off on B1 under partly cloudy skies and very steamy conditions until the 17th hole when the threat of rain cropped up with a dramatic drop in temperature, but fortunately no rain arrived.

The course was in fine condition and not wet as had been reported the previous week.
Back in the clubhouse, after a round of 3 hours and 10 minutes, welcomes went out to Patrick, Bee and Ringkin from Hong Kong.
Henry Wong was the winner today with a fine 39 points while Dave Richardson came a distant second on count back over Steen Habersaat third and Mike Winfield fourth.
Thursday, Oct. 2, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
1st Niels Hansen (13) 40pts
2nd Karl Beter (30) 37pts
3rd Dave Richardson (27) 33pts
Mountain Shadow today and the course was in fine condition with some of the best greens around. We raced around in 3 hours and 30 minutes with no golfers in front for the whole round.
Niels Hansen was the winner with a fine 40 points ahead of Karl Beter in second on 37 and Dave Richardson third with 33.
