As there were over 32 golfers there were three divisions each day and of course an overall winner after the three rounds. The daily equal cut for the week for the three divisions was 4-13, 14-21.1 and 21.2+.

Frank Graingers 35 won division 3, with Peter Davies second one point behind and David Phillips in third on 31.
A 20/16 back nine count back saw Keith Woolley beat Paul Young in division 2 after they both came in with 32 points, and Colin James beat Andy Oz into third place after a 14/9 back six count back, both on 31 points over all.
Near pins went to Div 1. Nik Evans, Frank Nottle, Len Ogembo and Pete Sumner, and Div 2. Alan Bissell, John Fitzgerald, Andy Oz and Chris Ross.
Pete Sumner birdied the 17th and in division 2 there was a rollover to the Highlands in division 2.
The bunkers here today were a disgrace and we had a mediocre opinion for the rest of the course.

This was probably our favourite course of the week, especially playing the new nine C course.

Only one ‘2’ today, for Martin Grimoldby in division 1 on the 7th. The greens here looked very patchy but they were slick and very true.
We were lucky with the weather this week with only a few spots of rain on the first round and an enjoyable week was had by all.
