PSC golf from Siam Country Resort
Just the 1 game last week, with holidays to see in 2014 from Monday to Wednesday, so on Thursday, Jan. 2, we eventually rolled around to Pleasant Valley to kick off the golfing year.
Our last visit here saw some sloppy fairways, but following the reporting of these to the management, the course was in reasonable condition, although there are 1 or 2 greens that are not consistent with the others. My philosophy is that we are all playing on the same course, so the conditions are pretty much the same for all.

On this day it was Jeff Wylie (7) who best came to grips with the course, scoring a good 41 points, while Willem Lasonder (21) signed for a solid 37 points. There were several good front 9 scores, notably from George & Bob, but the back 9 took some revenge on them.
Near pins went to Willem, Allan & Jeff.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 metres, with the venue on the left another 200 metres along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
