Pattaya and the Chonburi Provincial Attorney’s Office will offer free legal advice and assistance at a new city hall center.
The Law Counseling and Service Center, at Pattaya City Hall, will be staffed by legal consultants and experts who can help prepare documents such as contracts and wills, as well as advise on potential lawsuits and obtain legal representation for poor people or those who believe they did not receive a fair trial.
Pakorn Sukohnchat (High Court Prosecutor) and Sirichai Sutheeweerakachon (Expert Prosecutor for the Provincial Attorney’s Office in Region 2, Acting on behalf of the Pattaya Attorney) attend the signing ceremony with Pattaya City Mayor Itthipol Kunplome and Sunthorn Rattanawaraha (Pattaya City Manager)
At the July 12 agreement-signing ceremony with the Provincial Attorney’s Office, Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome said if center staffers cannot answer a question on their own, they will consult with prosecutors.
Chonburi prosecutor Sirichai Sutheeweerakachon said the center is being set up to help eliminate some of the public’s ignorance about the law and coordinate assistance and suggest compromises to resolve disputes.
