Award winning local property developer the Nova Group confirmed its continued confidence in the Pattaya real estate market with the launch of the Pacific Bay project in Jomtien earlier this week, making it the twenty-fifth development by Nova in the Eastern Seaboard region.
Pacific Bay will be a 33-storey residential development built on the highest part of Jomtien second road, opposite the Urban Group’s Acqua condominium. The project will include 481 units ranging in size from 22sqm studios up to 69.4sqm two-bedroom apartments and prices start at Bt70,000 per sq-meter, making an entry level price of Bt. 1.54M for the studio configuration. All units will contain quality fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms plus fitted wardrobes.
Units come in a range of sizes with quality fitted furniture.
“The finishing touches in our units and standards are very high, but for me it’s the location of this project that is the main selling point,” commented Nova Group CEO Rony Fineman, talking at the project’s launch and showroom opening party on January 19. “We have chosen the highest plot on Jomtien second road and looking towards the beach you can see that that area is already developed with mainly low-rise buildings and houses, so it should mean that the view you see now from Pacific Bay will remain the same for years to come.
“We have sold 70 units prior to today in our pre-sales period and hope to break ground next year. We aim to have sold 40% of the project by then but in the meantime we will be looking to do a number of exhibitions outside Thailand to stimulate sales,” added the Nova chief.

The building’s location certainly looks set to give it commanding views of the coastline, both from the individual residential units and also from the 26th floor swimming pool, fitness room and rooftop bar with seating area. Meanwhile, a dedicated parking area on the first three floors of the project will provide space and security for 112 private vehicles.
“We have never built on Jomtien Second Road before, but we have seen that quite a few major players have taken an interest here. We feel this is the right area to be in at the moment as the city expands ever southwards,” added Keith Storey, Nova’s group sales manager.
