Faced with a slow-moving property market, some 40 real estate agents and brokers from Pattaya and the surrounding area attended a seminar organized by property developer The Riviera Group on how to improve their sales techniques.
Riviera’s Marketing Manager Ubonjitr Thamchop hosted the May 12 workshop at the D Varee Jomtien Hotel. The seminar taught marketing tricks by two well-known lecturers, Supassakorn Waiwattana from Maximum Trainer, who won the top award from Business Network International for two consecutive years, and Kwanchai Yingcharoentavornchai, a national real estate investor who turned 13 property assets in just three months.
Guest lecturer Kwanchai Yingcharoentavornchai provided keen insights into sales strategies and techniques gained through real life experience.
Both speakers shared their knowledge of investments and sparked inspiration by focusing on theory and investment techniques based on real life experiences.
With many Western economies still in the doldrums, and with the relatively recent depreciation of the Russian ruble, many local real estate companies and agents have subsequently switched their attention to Thai and Chinese customers, but this also presents its own unique set of challenges due to different cultural buying preferences.
The lecturers advised however that with a rising Thai middle class, the local investor market has vast potential and, when added to a growing Chinese customer base, this prospective untapped purchasing power could bring a positive change of direction for the property market.
Ubojijtr said Riviera opened its workshop to all property brokers in an effort to help boost the outlook and overall stability of the industry. The guest lecturers aimed to help agents improve their sales ability, prospect customers and upgrade their own efficiency.
