The Chonburi Immigration Office awarded scholarships to impoverished children in Huay Yai recently. Pol. Col. Prapansak Prasansook, commander of the Jomtien Beach office, led the donation ceremony for pupils at Huay Yai School. A total of 50,000 baht was handed out. Thirty students received 1,000-baht stipends and the office donated 10,000 baht in school supplies and another 10,000 baht for musical instruments for the school. Principal Ninubol Pradaporn and several teachers thanked the immigration officers for their generosity.
