Lions Club signs up for tree planting project in Thailand

Lions Club International President (2011-12) Dr. Wing Kun-Tam (centre), accompanied by Past Lions Clubs International President Kajit Habanananda (left) were in Pattaya recently to witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Lions District 310C headed by District Governor Banchong Bunthoonprayuk (2nd left) and Kittisak Sripadpha (2nd right), chief of Khao Khiao-Khao Chom Phu Wildlife Sanctuary for their joint ‘I planted a tree’ project to commemorate the 7th cycle of HM the King’s birthday. The project’s mission is to plant more than one million trees within 5 years. At right is Lion Siphawan Siripichaipornhom, District 310C secretary.
