Dr. Wolfgang Cronenbroeck, a certified senior product manager, promoting the RWTH University Aachen and Jülich Nuclear Research Centre, Germany together with his wife made their annual visit to Pattaya’s unique Sugar Hut Resort and Restaurant recently. This original boutique hotel, established in 1984 with typical Thai built one and two bedroom villas, is set in a natural green “jungle” environment. They thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and tranquillity that Sugar Hut has to offer.

They were amongst the more than 10,644 trade visitors and exhibitors from 187 countries. The Dusit International booth was graced by the royal visit of HRH Princess Ubolratana in a show of support to the Thai hospitality brand and other Thai participants in the world’s largest tourism convention.

The event, attended by more than 300 guests, was organized by the St. Patrick’s Society Bangkok headed by President Gail Wright (4th right). Other guests included Tristan de La Porte du Theil, Nadia Hadi, Maeve Stephens, Gerry Wright and Pierre-Andre Pelletier, the hotel’s General Manager.

The Palm Wongamat Beach recently organised a spiritual blessing ceremony of their land located at the end of Soi 16 Wongamat by inviting a selected team of spiritual people to help bring good spirits to their project before construction begins. In traditional style, the spouses of the owners (l-r) Vipharat Fineman, Sukanya Gale and Kazuko Kasemsri Na Ayudhaya were asked to pray to welcome these good spirits in to the project and guard over it. ItalThai Trevi cranes and heavy plant gear was standing by to begin pre-construction preparations which are now completed. The Palm aims to complete construction of their stunning 46 and 26 story towers in 36 months time and once completed promises to become one of the most desirable condominium addresses in Pattaya.
