Thai Airways International participated in the Thai Festival in Tokyo recently. More than 300,000 people participated in this year’s event, including Thai restaurants, shops that sold local Thai products, and Royal Project products. More than 160 booths were set up to promote Thai products and demonstrations of various traditional activities. The event was held at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo’s Shibuya area in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Shibuya Ward Office. THAI held a promotional booth to boost sales and publicity and provided four roundtrip tickets from Tokyo to Bangkok that were raffled off in a lucky draw. Amongst the attendees at the festival were Nond Kalinta (2nd left), Acting Vice President, Sales Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, Arnuphap Kittikul (5th left), THAI General Manager of Japan, Weerasak Kowsurat (3rd left), Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, as Chairman of the 19th Thai Festival 2018, and H.E. Bansan Bunnag (4th left), Ambassador of Thailand to Tokyo.
