BANGKOK, JUNE 12 th 2013 Senior ranking officials of the consumer protection police division has announced the arrest of a 44-year old man selling 10 million baht worth of unauthorized cosmetics, botox products and beauty supplements.
The man, the owner of Wealthy and Growth Co.,Ltd., was arrested at his warehouse on Nuanjan road. According to the police, the suspect has been illegally selling botox, dietary supplements, and cosmetics without authorization country wide.
Some of the confiscated products have been banned by the Ministry of Public Health, others have not been approved the Thailand food and drug administration, which may be harmful to consumers’ health.
