The Vayu Phak Fund is scheduled to start investing in the Thai stock market from October 1, 2024, and will begin trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on October 15, 2024.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Phornchai Teerawet, spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, announced the upcoming sale of investment units for the “Vayu Pak 1 Fund,” valued at 150 billion baht. The fund will be available for subscription by individual investors from September 16 to 20, 2024. Institutional investors will have the opportunity to subscribe from September 18 to 20, 2024. Results for the allocation of investment units will be announced on September 23, 2024.



The Vayu Phak Fund is scheduled to start investing in the Thai stock market from October 1, 2024, and will begin trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on October 15, 2024.

This move aligns with previous statements from Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pichai Chunhawan, who indicated that the Vayu Pak Fund would be available for sale at the end of September or early October 2024.

The Ministry of Finance aims to use the Vayu Pak Fund as a mechanism to enhance savings and investment among the public, while also supporting the development of the country’s money and capital markets.
