BANGKOK, 25 June 2015 – The 1st Army Region yesterday held a seminar for members of the media stationed in Sing Buri Province to promote their cooperation in disseminating constructive news to local people . The event was organized by the Internal Security Operations Command at the 1st Army Region’s conference hall in Bangkok.
Attending the seminar were news reporters, radio program producers and community informants of Sing Buri. The seminar highlighted the press’s role in creating atmosphere conducive to reconciliation in the Kingdom by presenting accurate news that is beneficial to all. The media’s cooperation in such a way is expected to bring about peace to the society and termination in the use of violence among conflicting parties.
The seminar also urged the participants to promote the 12 national core values supported by the National Council for Peace and Order.
