5 state agencies sign MOU to combat corruption

BANGKOK, 10 June 2015 – The Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office said the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the five government agencies will effectively combat corruption.

Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Jamroen Yutithamsakul said the MOU between the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the Office of the Auditor General, Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission and the Department of Special Investigation will help promote transparency in Thailand.

They are expected to share information, as well as commit to their duties under the MOU to tackle corruption within their organizations.

The five organizations must also enforce the laws and assure anti-corruption efforts are being carried out in other state agencies regionally.
