PATTANI, May 28 — At least seven people were wounded in the bombing of a hospital in Thailand’s deep Southern province of Pattani on Wednesday morning.
The explosive went off at 9.30am on Wednesday at a car park at Khok Pho Hospital in Pattani province, injuring seven people, including two defense volunteers, and causing fire damage to more than ten motorcycles.
The fire was put out by Khok Pho municipal firefighters and other local departments. Police believed the explosive was hidden in a motorcycle and parked among other vehicles at the car park. Officers set up barricades for Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) officers to inspect the scene and collect evidence.
