Authorities have arrested four people involved in the production and distribution of explicit content featuring a minor.
The special operation, conducted by the Department of Provincial Administration in collaboration with the Cyber Police and Immanuel Foundation, targeted a notorious group known as Sex Creators.
The group was found to be creating and disseminating inappropriate media involving children under the age of 18, leading to charges under the Anti-Human Trafficking Act.
The operation included raids at four locations in Bangkok and its outskirts. The raids resulted in the arrest of four people including Mr. Tanaphon, 29 known in the online sphere as a prominent “Sex Creator.”
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized smartphones, electronic devices, clothing, and filming equipment used in the production of explicit content.
The investigation prompted by a complaint from the Immanuel Foundation revealed that the perpetrators were involved in the production and distribution of explicit content through various online platforms, including OnlyFans, X (Twitter), and private Line groups.
The explicit content involved minors, with one case confirming the creation of media featuring a 16-year-old. The arrested individuals are now facing charges related to human trafficking under the relevant laws.
The initial information about the criminal activities came from the public, demonstrating the importance of community involvement in combating such heinous crimes.
The victim is receiving support from a multidisciplinary team, with the foundation assisting in education and psychological recovery. (TNA)
