Air Force, Armed Forces HQ, Dusit Zoo and NBT Channel ready to host children today

BANGKOK, 11 January 2014 Parents have been invited to being their children to any one of the numerous Children’s Day events being hosted on Saturday. 

The Royal Thai Air Force is set to host its Children’s Day celebration at Squadron 603 in Don Mueang, where C-130 military transport aircraft have been prepared to take children up for a sigh-seeing trip in the sky over Bangkok on 4 flights.

At the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters on Chaengwatthana Rd., various military armaments will be available for up-close examination by visiting children, including BTR armored personnel carriers and anti-aircraft batteries that have been transported from Prachinburi.

Dusit Zoo in Bangkok will be admitting children free of charge the entire day on Saturday. Special activities include an animals parade, prize-fetching games and music performances by well-known comedians.

At the NBT Channel compound on Viphawadi Rangsit Rd., children can visit the numerous booths showcasing countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations; they can also partake in Thai and English news casting and enjoy various games.
