Updates on revisions made by Bangkok Airways to its three-times daily ‘sealed route’ flights between Bangkok and Samui, which will be effective from 1 August – 30 October, 2021.
These ‘sealed route’ flights are for transit/transfer international passengers visiting Samui under the ‘Samui Plus’ programme who are connecting via Bangkok.
The following flights will be retimed:
Flight PG5125 (which currently departs Bangkok at 10.05 Hrs. and arrives at Samui at 11.35 Hrs.) will instead depart Bangkok at 12.00 Hrs. and arrive at Samui at 13.30 Hrs.
Flight PG5126 (which currently departs Samui at 12.15 Hrs. and arrives at Bangkok at 13.45 Hrs.) will instead depart Samui at 14.10 Hrs. and arrive at Bangkok at 15.40 Hrs.
The following flights will remain unchanged:
Flight PG5171 which departs Bangkok at 17.10 Hrs. and arrives at Samui at 18.40 Hrs.
Flight PG5172 which departs Samui at 19.20 Hrs. and arrives at Bangkok at 20.50 Hrs.
The following flights will be cancelled:
Flight PG5151 which departs Bangkok at 14.35 Hrs. and arrives at Samui at 16.05 Hrs.
Flight PG5152 which departs Samui at 16.45 Hrs. and arrives at Bangkok at 18.15 Hrs.
Meanwhile, Bangkok Airways’ four-weekly flights between Samui and Phuket – introduced to support the ‘Phuket Sandbox’ programme – will continue as normal. These operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Please note that the latest COVID-19 control measures announced on 24 July, 2021, for domestic travel to Koh Samui and Koh Pha-ngan are not enforced for travel between Koh Samui and Koh Pha-ngan, or travellers under the Phuket Sandbox travelling by air to Koh Samui and Koh Pha-ngan, or other endorsed projects to reopen pilot destinations.
This means that foreign tourists under the Phuket Sandbox programme can still travel between Phuket and Samui, in accordance with the necessary screening measures in place for health and safety.
