Ambassador of Thailand to Norway pays courtesy call on Norwegian Foreign Minister

Ambassador Nitivadee and the Norwegian Foreign Minister have raised issues including the cooperation on energy and clean energy, trade and investment as well as the Free Trade Agreement between Thailand and EFTA.

Her Excellency Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway on 31 July 2024.

Ambassador Nitivadee and the Norwegian Foreign Minister have discussed on the bilateral issues and followed up from the meeting between the Norwegian Foreign Minister and H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, when both Ministers met during 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Post Ministerial Conference in Vientian on 25 July 2024. Ambassador Nitivadee and the Norwegian Foreign Minister have raised issues including the cooperation on energy and clean energy, trade and investment as well as the Free Trade Agreement between Thailand and EFTA.



Ambassador Nitivadee and the Norwegian Foreign Minister also exchanged their views on the regional cooperation as well as the global current situations.

On this occasion, Ambassador Nitivadee also informed the Foreign Minister on the upcoming activites of the Embassy to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the establishmen of Diplomatic relations between Thailand and Norway in 2025. (NNT)
