MANCHESTER – Ruben Amorim has officially arrived at Manchester United, taking up his role as the new head coach of the club, Nov 12. This appointment ends the interim tenure of Ruud van Nistelrooy, who departs the club.
Amorim was welcomed at United’s Carrington training complex by CEO Omar Berrada, Director of Football Dan Ashworth, and Technical Director Jason Wilcox. After a tour of the facility, Amorim is set to lead his first match on November 24 in an away game against Ipswich Town.
The Red Devils have announced that Van Nistelrooy, who led the team to three wins and one draw during his interim period, has left the club. Along with him, several staff members from Erik ten Hag’s era, including Rene Hage, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and Peter Morrell, have also resigned. (TNA)
