ANG THONG, 29 April 2015 – The Ang Thong Radio Broadcasting Association has made a financial donation to assist earthquake victims in Nepal.
The earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25th measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale at a depth of 18 kilometers, also had an impact in India, China, Tibet, and Bangladesh. The quake caused buildings to collapse in the capital Kathmandu.
Nearby cities were damaged and many people lost their lives. Therefore, in order to assist earthquake victims in Nepal, Ang Thong province has established a center to assist victims of the earthquake in Nepal. It’s in the provincial Damrongtham center, in Ang Thong City Hall (old building).
Meanwhile the president of the Ang Thong Radio Broadcasting Association Chokchai Tongsak, together with fellow association members, donated 10,000 baht to the Governor of Ang Thong, Pavin Chamniprasart, to be of assistance to the earthquake victims in Nepal.
