A woman from Los Angeles has accused actress Angelina Jolie of practicing witchcraft and harassing her. The woman has filed a request for the court to issue a restraining order, preventing Jolie from coming into contact with her again.
In the bizarre lawsuit, the woman alleges that Jolie has been “hypnotizing and threatening” her and “stalking” her through various individuals. The woman claims that Jolie began following her to her home in 2010 and is also demanding that the Hollywood star pay her legal fees.
The actress, known for her role in Maleficent, is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with her ex-husband Brad Pitt over a wine business, which has been ongoing for more than eight years and has cost her a significant amount of money. Now, Jolie is facing new and unusual allegations.
According to court documents obtained by The Mirror, the woman, who remains anonymous, states that Jolie has “an abnormal mental condition” and believes that she is connected to the woman, even though this is not the case. The accuser claims that Jolie has harassed her by using different individuals and has caused her to experience “paranoid delusions,” including “auditory and visual hallucinations” associated with schizophrenia.
Additionally, the woman accuses Jolie of assisting human traffickers involved in various criminal activities. The accuser’s father is said to have witnessed some of the actions in question. The woman further claims that Jolie “killed someone else’s child” and sent a message saying, “Stop committing illegal acts related to human trafficking and accept the truth that people will no longer tolerate being victims of your behavior.”
The accuser is also requesting that Jolie pay $300 in legal fees.
The lawsuit was filed on October 9, and the outcome of the case has not yet been disclosed.
Previously, Jolie wrote an article for Elle magazine about witchcraft, in which she discussed how women are often accused of being witches simply for thinking independently, discussing politics or religion, or dressing differently than what society expects. “If I had been born in earlier times, I might have been burned at the stake several times just for being myself,” she said.
