BANGKOK, 1 July 2014 – The National Council for Peace and Order has ordered the transfer of another 14 senior state officials.
According to announcement no. 81 of the NCPO, Transport Ministry Permanent Secretary Somchai Siriwatthanachok is removed from the post and takes the position of adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office instead. Natural Resources and Environment Ministry Permanent Secretary Choti Trachu is removed from the post, and takes the position of adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office. Revenue Department director-general Sutthichai Sangkhamani is shifted to the position of Finance Ministry inspector. Employment Department Director-General Prawit Khiengphon is shifted to the position of Labor Ministry inspector. Ms. Soithip Traisut is shifted to Transport Ministry permanent secretary from her previous post as deputy permanent secretary. Ms. Mingkhwan WItchayarangsarit is shifted to Natural Resources and Environment Ministry permanent secretary, from her previous post as deputy permanent secretary.
Chatuphon Burutphat takes the position of director-general at the Department of Water Resources. Phawini Punnakan takes the position of director-general at the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion. Suphot Towichakchaikun takes the position of secretary-general at the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning. Prasong Phunthanet takes the position of director-general of the Revenue Department. Kulit Sombatsiri takes the position of director at the State Enterprise Policy Office. Phiraphat Phonsiriloetkit takes the position of deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Labor. Sumet Mahosot takes the position of director-general at the Department of Employment.
