Australian couple arrested in Phuket for two robbery incidents after using the same motorcycle in both crimes.

PHUKET, Thailand – The Immigration Police and Chalong Police Station investigation team raided a residence in the heart of Phuket City to arrest an Australian couple on charges of robbery. The couple, Mr. Sam B. (25 years old) and Mrs. Susan A. (36 years old), were apprehended on February 21, based on arrest warrants issued by the Phuket Provincial Court.

The couple is accused of “robbery using a vehicle to facilitate the crime, transport stolen goods, or evade arrest” in connection with two separate incidents that took place on February 19. The first victim, a foreigner, was robbed of a handbag containing a mobile phone and other valuables near a 7-Eleven store in Rawai at approximately 9:30 PM. Another victim was targeted around 10:30 PM, where a similar robbery occurred near a Thai massage shop in the same area.

Upon reviewing CCTV footage, authorities confirmed that the two robberies were committed by the same individuals, who used the same motorcycle, a white-and-red Honda PCX. The motorcycle was later traced back to being rented by Mr. Sam B., leading to the arrest. The couple has been charged with the crimes and is currently under investigation.
