Awakening Bangkok 2024 kicks off – Lighting up the old town with art and culture

Awakening Bangkok 2024, has officially begun and will run from November 8 to 17, open each evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Bangkok’s much-anticipated annual light and digital art festival, Awakening Bangkok 2024, has officially begun and will run from November 8 to 17, open each evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Now in its seventh year, the festival invites visitors to explore the theme “One Light, One Rises” and experience the vibrancy and cultural depth of Bangkok’s Old Town.

The festival features 36 dazzling light installations across six main locations, including:

  1. Yodpiman River Walk and Yodpiman Market
  2. Museum Siam (near MRT Sanam Chai station)
  3. Saranrom Park
  4. Phraeng Phuthon
  5. Bangkok City Hall
  6. Romaneenart Park (near MRT Sam Yot station)

This event is collaboration between government and private sector partners, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and brands like Yaris Ativ Nightshade, Schweppes, Marimekko, and SEE FAH.



Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the installations, take memorable photos, and witness the streets of Bangkok come alive with innovative art and lights.
