Ayutthaya launches consumption water distribution center

AYUTTHAYA, 20 July 2015 – Ayutthaya Province has established the royally bestowed distribution center of water for consumption to relieve the drought affected public’s concerns.

The Governor of Ayutthaya Apichat Todilokvech today officiated the opening of the royally bestowed consumption water distribution center by the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage, to help ease the effects of the drought among the general public.

He said that this campaign was initiated from His Majesty the King’s care for the drought affected public. The water distribution center, located at the Special Education Center in Nakhon Luang District, has been established from the cooperation between the Ayutthaya Special Education Center, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Education.

He also expressed his gratitude towards His Majesty the King’s kindness in the name of the people of Ayutthaya Province.

The center is also supported by two mobile clean water treatment vehicles from the Ayutthaya Provincial Administrative Organization, with an accumulated clean water production capacity of up to 8,000 liters per day.

Ayutthaya is among the 12 provinces in the central region currently affected by the drought disaster.
