BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) has announced a temporary closure of Bangkok Bridge on Tuesday, April 8, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM for an inspection and testing of its opening and closing system following recent earthquake activity.

The DRR’s Maintenance Bureau will conduct a thorough examination to ensure the bridge’s long-term safety and operational efficiency. The inspection aims to assess any potential impact from the earthquake and verify the bridge’s structural integrity.

Motorists are advised to use Rama III Bridge as an alternative route during the closure.
