BANGKOK, 12 July 2015 – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has ordered roads to be cleaned in preparation for the Bike for Mom activity, organized as a celebration for the auspicious occasion of HM the Queen’s birthday.
Phaya Thai District Chief Woraset Prapatsutanon said that Phaya Thai District and the BMA’s Environment Department has dispatched a cleaning team, consisting of 50 people, 2 crane vehicles, and 8 high pressure water spray vehicles to clean the the Sam Liam Din Daeng Junction, from Sam Sen Canal to Soi Boon Yu. Today’s cleaning operations will cover a distance of 450 meters.
Roads are being cleaned in preparation for the upcoming Bike for Mom activity, set to take place on 16 August 2015 as a celebration for the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday.
The District Chief further stated that Phaya Thai District office and other related agencies will be working together to monitor the over preparations and will work to maintain the cleanliness of the paths used in the Bike for Mom activity to ensure their orderliness and scenic beauty prior to the event’s commencement.
