MP candidates for Bangkok’s 33 constituencies finished drawing their candidacy numbers after the registration.
They can begin canvassing with candidacy numbers in the campaign rallies.
Election Commissioner Thitichet Nuchnart said the application for the constituency candidate registration on Monday went smoothly.
It will take about seven days for the Election Commission to check their qualifications before announcing eligible candidates.
If candidates do not pass the qualification requirement after the EC verification, they can lodge a petition to the Supreme Court. (TNA)
